Combined Inspection Report 50-272/91-24; 50-311/91-24; and 50-354/91-17
This letter transmits the results of an announced, routine, safety inspection of emergency
preparedness activities authorized by License Nos. DPR-70, DPR-75, and NPF-57. The
inspection was conducted by Mr. C. Amato of this office on August 12-16, 1991 at your
Artificial Island Site, Lower Alloways Creek Township, New Jersey. Discussions of our
findings were held by Mr. Amato with your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I inspection
report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
examination of procedures and records, and interviews with personnel by the inspector.
The PSE&G Co. 's Nuclear Department is implementing an effective emergency preparedness
program. Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
