With your application dated December 27, 1989, you remitted a check for $150.
This application requested approval for use of ASME Section XI Code Case N-460 for Salem Unit No. 2 and Hope Creek Unit No. 1 Generating Stations. The enclosed revisions to 10 CFR 170 that became effective on January 30, 1989, deleted the requirement for a $150 application fee for reactor applications and topical reports.
Therefore, a $150 check does not need to be remitted with future applications.
As an administrative convenience, we are not refunding the $150 to you.
Instead we will give credit for it when an invoice is issued for review of that application. Let us know if this is not acceptable to you.
