Inspection Report Nos. 50-272/89-06, 50-311/89-05, and 50-354/89-10
This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Messrs. L. Cheung and
R. Winters of this office on April 10-14, 1989, at the Salem Units 1 and 2 and
Hope Creek Generating Stations in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
Messrs. Cheung
and Winters discussed the r.esults of the inspection with Mr. Ronafalvy of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection .
This inspection was directed at activities related to the Engineering
Department in support of the generating stations. Areas examined during this
inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is
enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selected examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
