Combined Inspection Report No. 50-272/89-02 and 50-311/89-02
This refers to the routine safety inspection of your Fire Protection Program
conducted by Mr. A. Krasopoulo*s of this office on February 6-10, 1989 at
Salem Units 1 and 2, Lower Alloways Township, New Jersey, of activities
authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-70 and DPR-75 and to the discussions of
our findings held by Mr. Krasopoulos with Mr. Moeller at the conclusion of
the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection coiisisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required.
