This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Messrs.
D. F. Cameron, W. T. Olsen and W. K. Lancaster of th1s office on
December 5-9, 1988, at Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, of activities authorized
by NRC License-Nos. NPF-50, DPR-70 and DPR-75 and to the discussions of our
findings held by Mr. Lancaster with Mr. P. S. Moeller and other members of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection~
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the
inspectors.
Within the scope.of this inspectjon, no violations were observed.
Portions of the enclosed inspection report contain details of your security
program that have been determined to be exempt from public disclosure in
accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 (Safeguards Information) .. Therefore, those
portions will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) and will
receive limited distribution.
This letter and the remaining portions of the
inspection report will be placed in the PDR in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a).
No reply to this letter is required.
