SUMMARY
UNIT 2 AUGUST 1988 The Unit was restored to operation on August 1, 1988, and continued its end-of-cycle coastdown operation.
The coastdown continued until August 31, 1988, when a reactor trip occurred due to the failure of a valve position feedback indicator linkage on a feedwater regulating valve.
The reactor trip resulted in the Unit entering its refueling/maintenance outage two days early.
