FINAL EXERCISE REPORT (ARTIFICIAL ISLAND EXERCISE OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1987)
Enclosed is a copy of the final exercise report of the September 9, 1987 exercise of the Delaware offsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plan for the Artificial Island Emergency Station, which was prepared by the staff of FEMA Reg ion II I.
The report indicates there were no deficiencies identified during this exercise; however, several areas requiring corrective action along with a schedule of corrections is included in the report. Based on the results of this exercise, the offsite radiological emergency plans and preparedness for the Delaware portion of the emergency planning zone remain adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of an accident at the Artificial Island Generating Station and the 44 CFR 350 approval granted on June 5, 1986, remains in effect.
