!, 'zy As a result of commitments made at PSE&G's meeting with NRC st'a'ff members at Region I on October 7, 1987, attached is a revision of the safety evaluation provided on October 3, 1987.

The revision includes non-safety related associated circuits in the evaluation and also include confirmation of breaker coordination at the 4 KV level for both onsite and offsite power sources.

Also, as committed to at that meeting, PSE&G will complete the overall breaker coordination study by December 31, 1987.

A schedule for modification resulting from that study will be provided to the NRC by January 29, 1988.

If coordination can be accomplished by an adjustment of setpoint or tap change, it will be implemented by April 1, 1988.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely, Attachment
