REQUEST FOR CONTINGENCY EMERGENCY TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) hereby submits a detailed summary and cost estimate report, in response to your letter dated June 22, 1987.
Various exhibits are included to better illustrate our antenna configurations, elevations, and frequencies currently in use at Artificial Island.

SUMMARY
AND COST ESTIMATE REPORT NUCLEAR TRAINING CENTER TOWER The current antenna configuration and frequency usage is provided on the attached Exhibit A.
AT&T dedicated service technicians will provide the control/audio cabling required between the NRC locker and the base of the tower. our current antenna contractor, Jack Healy, will install and mount the antenna and install coaxial cable.
Cabling cost: 2 AT&T techs x 8 hrs. x $60/hour Antenna Installation: 1 day @ $900/day

MET TOWER The current antenna configuration and frequency usage is provided on the attached Exhibit B.

SALEM (TURBINE BUILDING)
The current antenna and frequency reference is noted at the bottom of Exhibit A.
Several locations at or near the elevator shaft are available.
Antenna installation: 1/2 to 1 day @ $900/day = $
900 BIFC has recommended a Celwave PD-1167 for this site.
SUMMARY
The total estimated PSE&G cost is $ 3,660.
PSE&G will provide procurement costs based on current supplier prices and procure the antennae if so desired by the NRC or BIFC.
We recommend that all antennae be permanently installed to eliminate the need for special insurance requirements, climbing during inclement weather, etc.
