Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-272/86-10 and 50-311/86-10
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. P. Bissett of
this office on March 17-21, 1986, at the Salem Nuclear Generating Station,
Units 1 and 2, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, of activities authorized by NRC
License Nos. DPR-70 and DPR-75 and to the discussions of our findings held by
Mr. P. Bissett with Mr. J. Zupko and other members of your staff at the con-
clusion of the inspection .
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
