Meeting Report Nos. 50-272/85-22 and 50-311/85-25
The attached report refers to the management meeting held at the Salem
Generating Station, September 25, 1985, to provide for discussion of the
potential closeout of the PSE&G Action Plan for improvement of Nuclear
Department operations .
During this meeting indications and trends of improved performance were
presented.
During our discussions we perceived a constructive, positive
attitude by you and members of your staff.
We appreciate your
responsiveness to our comments and feel the meeting served for us to
better understand your intentions with regard to your completed Action
Plan.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's
11 Rules of Practice, 11 Part
2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the
enclosed Meeting Report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document
Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, as indicated by you,
documentation of your Action Plan intentions should be submitted to NRR
in order to initiate the completion of the Action Plan.
