\\~e have received a copy of your application dated April 12, 1984, which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review. This application requested additional relief from certain pump and valve testing requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a(g) for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1. Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 of the March 23, 1978, regulations were not remitted with your application.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their preliminary review of your application~ it has been determined that a Class III fee ($4~000) is appropriate since the review will involve consideration of a single safety issue. Therefore, your Company is requested to remit the sum of $4,000 to this office. If the ONRR staff's final revie~ of your application reveals that this fee is not appropriate!
you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
