REQUIREMENTS FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE CAPABILITY SUPPLEMENT 1 TO NUREG 0737 REVISED INTEGRATED SCHEDULE NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 In response to questions raised by your staff regarding implementation of the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS),

PSE&G has revised the proposed milestone implementation schedule transmitted by our letter of June 1, 1983.

As indicated on the attached implementation schedule, the SPDS contract will be awarded in September 1983.

Subsequently, with vendor input we will establish an implementation schedule for SPDS installation and project completion.

This revised schedule will be provided by December 1983.
