9 JUN 1983 You are invited to attend a meeting with the staff of Region I of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission at the Holiday Inn, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on June 27, 1983, to discuss the transfer of NRC's Reactor Operator Licensing function from Bethesda, Maryland, to the Region I office in King of Prussia.
The co-chairmen of the meeting will be Richard W. Starostecki, Director of the Division of Project and Resident Programs Region I, and Hugh L. Thompson, Jr.,
Director of the Division of Human Factors Safety in the NRC's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
The Operator Licensing staff will discuss the policies and procedures for accomplishing the transfer of the Operator Licensing activity from its Head-quarters office to Region I and our plans for implementing the Operator Licensing program here.
The agenda for the meeting includes several group working sessions to allow you to meet the Region I Operator Licensing staff, and to afford you an opportunity to ask questions.
