By letter dated January lO:t 1983, the Division of licensing (DL) staff approved your application dated November 22, 1982, and issued Amendment No. 16 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-75 for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 2. This application proposed certain Technical Specification changes on a one-time basis to permit operation for an additional 12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br /> with one component cooling water loop inop-erable. Although your application stated a Class III fee {$4,000) would be forwarded shortly, this fee has not been received by us.
Based on infonnation provided by the ONRR staff as a result of their final review of your application, it has been determined that the Class III fee
{$4,000} is appropriate since the review involved consideration of a single safety issue.. Therefore, you are requested to rei11it the sum of $4,000 to this office..
For your information, we have not received the Class III fee of $4,000 for your December 2, 1982 application which you stated would be submitted short-ly. This application requested an expansion of license condition 2.. L re-garding deferral of the 18-month Surveillance Requirement of TS 4.7.10.2.c.
This application was approved by Amendment No. 15 on December 3, 1982.
