J. Heltemes Facility Operating License DPR-75 for Salem Unit 2 (paragraph 2.C.5) required that specified information be provided for our review related to the actuation system setpoints of the Reactor Protection System and Engineered Safety Features System.
PSE&G submitted this information by letters dated November 20, 1981 and July 19, 1982.
A number of concerns were identified during our review and were documented in our letter dated September 17~ 1982. Subsequently, in your letter dated October 8~ 1982, you committed to make the necessary modifications to satisfy these concerns and to propose revised Technical Specifications that will be consistent with the setpoint methodology.
On the basis of these commitments we find the requirements of License Condition 2.C.5 have been satisfactorily completed.
