This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Dr. Jin W. Chung of this
office on December 8-12, 1980, at Saiem Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1
of activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-70 and to the discussions of
our findings held by Dr. Jtn W. Chung with Mr. H. Midura and other members
- of your s*taff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this tnspection are described tn the Office of Inspection
and Enforcement lnspecti'on Report which ts enclosed with this letter.
Within
these areas., the inspection consisted of s.elective examinations of procedures
and representative records, tntervtews wtth personnel, and observations by the
. inspector.
