By letter, dated January 16, 1981, you proposed to reduce the audible alarm level for the overhead and console annunciators from 20dB above background noise to lOdB above background noise with the emergency ventilation fan in se,rvice.
The staff concurs in this action. The proposed audible i:'ilarm level above background is consi'S._tefit with current NRC recommendations on other NTOL plants.
