REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 UNIT NO. 2 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO.
50~311 Rei;. LCR 80-06 In accordance with the A,tomic Energy A.ct of 1954, as a.mended and the regulations thereunder, we hereby transmit copies of our request for amendment and our analysis of the changes to Facility Operating Licerise DPR-75 for Salem Genera.ting Station, Unit No. 2.
This request consists of proposed cha,nges to the Safety Technical Specif ica,tions (A.ppendix A.) involving the section pertaining to shift manning.
This change if granted, would be temporary in nature and is requested until the *official results of the May 19, 1980 RO and SRO examinations administered to Salem license candi-dates are known.
The *NRC's Operator Licensing Branch ha;s indi-cated that the examination scoring and evaluating will ta,k.e approximately eight (_8) weeks.
This change involves a single safety issue and is deemed not to involve a significant hazards consideration and as such, is classified as a Class lII Arneridmerit a.s defined by 10CFR 170. 22.
