UNDERWATER INSTALLATION PROCEDURES INCREASED CAPACITY SPENT FUEL RACKS NO. 1 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-272 Public Service Electric & Gas Company hereby transmits twenty (20) copies of its installation procedure for increased capacity spent fuel storage racks for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, as required in your Safety Evaluation Report, dated January 15, 1979.

This procedure was developed to provide detailed guidance to prospective contractors.

Once the installation contract has been awarded, supplemental procedures will be developed, as necessary, and approved by PSE&G.
