Dear Mr. Librizzi:
As part of our continuing review of problems related to undervoltage protection of safety related electrical equipment we have reviewed the information provided in your 1 etter of August 1, 1977 in light of current operation experience.
We hav~ concluded that your claim (i.e.~ that the grid-voltage of your station does not degrade below 90% of normal voltage} is not acceptable as a basis for not *proposing any modification to your undervoltage protection scheme. Therefore, we requ"ire that you provide proposed design modifications and Techni-cal Specification changes based on the guidance contained in staff posit ions provided to you in our 1 etter of June 2, l 977.
