Licensing SPECIAL REPORT ON 1998 INSERVICE INSPECTION OF STEAM GENERA TOR TUBES Attached is a Special Report on the Palisades steam generator tube inservice inspection which was completed on May 14, 1998. Palisades Technical Specification 6.6.9b requires that this report be submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commision within 12 months following completion.
Our letter dated May 15, 1998, reported that eight tubes were plugged in Steam Generator E-50A and three tubes were plugged in Steam Generator E-508 as a result of the inspection. Four of the tubes in Steam Generator E-50A were plugged as a preventive measure only.
