Haslcell Director, Licensing DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT IMPLEMENTATION OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE AMENDMENT 180 This letter notifies the NRC that full implementation of Amendment 180 to the Palisades Facility Operating License has been accomplished.
On April 29, 1998, the NRC issued Amendment 180 to th~ Palisades Facility Operating License.
That amendment required "Full implementation of this amendment shall be accomplished within 60 days after leaving Cold Shutdown following completion of the refueling outage, but no later than October 2, d 1
1998.", as we had committed in our letter of January 29, 1998.
The Palisades plant left Cold Shutdown, following completion of the 1998 refueling outage, on May 29, 1998; full implementation of Amendment 180 was accomplished on July 28, 1998.

SUMMARY
OF.COMMITMENTS This letter establishes no new commitments.
It completes the commitment made in our January 29, 1998 letter, and repeated in the NRC letter that transmitted Amendment 180, that "Full implementation of this amendment shall be accomplished within 60 days after leaving Cold Shutdown following completion of the refueling outage, but no later than October 2, 1998."
