Director, Licensing FOUR YEAR TEST REPORT FOR THE PALISADES SIMULATION FACILITY.
10 CFR 55.45(b)(5), "Certification of Simulation Facilities," requires simulator facility licensees to submit a report to the Commission which identifies any uncorrected performance test failures during the past four year period and a schedule for their correction.
The report must also include, (1) a description of the simulation facility performance testing completed during the past four years, (2) a description of performance tests to be conducted on the facility during the subsequent four years, and (3) a schedule for the conduct of approximately 25% of the performance tests to be completed per year during that next four year period. The attachment to this letter provides the required report.
The Palisades Simulation Facility was initially certified on June 11, 1990.
