Haas Plant Safety and Licensing Director 1994 ANNUAL RADIOACTIVE EFFLUENT RELEASE AND WASTE DISPOSAL REPORT Enclosed is the 1994 Annual Radioactive Effluent Release and Waste Disposal Report for the Palisades Plant.
This report meets the requirements of 10 CFR 50.36a and the Palisades Plant Technical Specification Section 6.9.3.1.A.
The report provides information relating to radioactive waste processing during the period of January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994.
The Palisades Plant was off-line during only one period in 1994, from February 13, 1994 until June 18, 1994.
The plant was off-line during this period for a boric acid leak in a 24-inch austenitic stainless steel check valve located between the containment sump and the high pressure injection, low pressure injection, and containment spray pumps suction.
Both* the Process Control Program (PCP) and the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) were revised in 1994.
The Process Control Program was revised to eliminate references no longer applicable and processes no longer used.
The ODCM was revised as a result of the five (5) year met data and the 1993 Land Use Survey.
Both of these reports are attachments to the annual report.
