UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 20555 NRC LICENSE NO.: 1WG09/03 NRC DOCKET NO.: 11005149 LICENSE EXPIRES: December 31, 2023 Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Title 10. Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 1, Part 110, a license is hereby issued to the licensee designated below authorizing the import of nuclear materials and/or facilities into the United States of America in accordance with the statements and representations made by the licensee in the application referenced below. This license is subject to all applicable rules, regulations, and orders of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission now or hereafter in effect and to any conditions specified below.

Michael Wilbricht Quantity and Type: A maximum total quantity of 36 kilograms of uranium-235 contained in 1,200 kilograms uranium enriched to 5 WGT %
maximum is authorized for import as Class A radioactive waste contaminants on combustible materials (paper, wood, clothing and plastic) for incineration and recovery of the contained uranium. The combustible materials were contaminated in the process of fabricating low enriched uranium fuel (conversion of uranium hexafluoride; production of uranium dioxide powder; pressing uranium dioxide powder into pellets; and loading pellets into fuel assemblies).
Points of Origin: Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH, Am Seitenkanal 1, 49811 Lingen, Germany End Use: Imported combustible materials will be processed to recover the uranium. Any contaminated non-combustibies recovered will be returned to the Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH facility in Germany, pursuant to a valid NRG export license (e.g., XW015, and subsequent amendments). Low-ievei radioactive waste generated during the recovery process will be disposed of at the U.S. Ecology, Inc. facility in Richland, Washington. Any radioactive mixed waste generated during the recovery process will be disposed of at the Energy Solutions facility in Olive, Utah.
Amended to: 1) change the licensee name from AREVA NP Inc. to Framatome Inc.; 2) change the licensee point of contact; 3) update the address of the Point of Origin; and 4) extend the date of expiration from December 31, 2020, to December 31, 2023.
