Rogers Plant Safety and Licensing Director DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - FOUR YEAR TEST REPORT FOR THE PALISADES SIMULATION FACILITY 10 CFR 55.45(b}(5}, "Certification of Simulator Facilities," requires simulator facility licensees to submit a report to the Commission which identifies any uncorrect~d performance test failures during the past four year period and a schedule for their correction.
The report must also include, (1) a description of the simulation facility performance testing completed during the past four years, (2) performance tests to be conducted on the facility during the subsequent four years, and (3) a schedule for the conduct of approximately 25% of the performance tests per year during that next four year period.
The attachment to this letter provides the required report.
The Palisades Simulation Facility was initially certified on June 11, 1990.
