Rogers Plant Safety arid Licensing Director DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR~20 - PALISADES PLANT - PAYMENT OF CIVIL PENALTY REGARDING THE.ISSUES CONCERNING PROMPT CORRECTIVE ACTIONS NOT TAKEN FOR SIGNIFICANT CONDITIONS ADVERSE TO QUALITY By letter dated May 6, 1994, -the NRC transmitted a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty in regard to the lack of prompt corrective actions for significant conditions adverse to.quality. These conditions were identified during the NRC Service Water System Operational Performance Inspection.. Pursuant to the responses directed by that Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty, a check payable to the Treasur~r of the United States tn the amount of the $50,000 is attached. A reply to the Notice of Violation will be submitted by June 5, 1994.
