PROPOSED IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTY -
$75,000 This is to inform the Commission that i Notice of Vi6lation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty in the amount of $75,000 will be issued on or about June 2, 1992 to Consumers Power Company.
This action is based on a Sev~rity Level III violation involving licensee failure to establish measures to pro~ptly identify and correct significant EQ nonconformances following receipt of a ~ofitractor's report reviewing EQ equipment.
T&e civil penalty wa~ escalated by ~0% for pbor past performanc~ in the EQ area.
It should be noted that the lic~nsee has not been specific~lly informed of the enforcement action.
The schedule of issuance and notification is:
