GB Slade General Manager TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS CHANGE REQUEST - INCORE ANALYSIS PROGRAM (TAC NO 75059) - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Consumers Power Company (CPC) letter dated August 24, 1990 submitted revision 1 of a technical specifications change request which, when approved, will permit the use of the PIDAL full core incore analysis program in place of the currently authorized one-eighth core INCA incore analysis program.
During a telephone conference between NRC and CPC staff on June 24, 1991, the NRC reviewers requested a copy of the uncertainty analysis for the PIDAL system.
That analysis is included as Attachment 1 to this letter. Attachment 2 to this letter is the "Analysis of Quadrant Power Tilt Uncertainties" submitted previously as Attachment 3 to our August 24, 1990 technical specifications change request and re-submitted unchanged for the convenience of the NRC review staff.
