REVISED INSERVICE TESTING PUMP AND VALVE PROGRAMS (TAC NO 74783)
Consumers Power.Company letter dated October 2, 1989 confirmed to the NRC our intent to conform with Generic Letter 89-04.
In this letter we targeted submittal of revised Inservice Testing Pump and Valve Testing Programs by the end of 1989. provides the revised Valve Testing Program, Engineering Manual Procedure EM-09-02.
This revised program conforms to the guidance of the Generic Letter for all valves which do not require modification.
Those valves requiring modification/evaluation are listed in. provides the revised Pump Testing Program, Engineering Manual Procedure EM-09-04.
The revised program conforms to the guidance of the Generic Letter for all pumps which do not require modification.
The pumps requiring modification/evaluation are listed in Attachment 3.
This submittal supersedes our previous pump and valve testing program submittals dated January 18, 1989 and May 17, 1988 respectively.
In addition, Palisades has contracted an independent pump and valve testing program summary review.
We anticipate this review may result in additional revision to the pump and valve testing programs.
