- NOV 2 1989 This letter is being reissued to document the meeting time as 2:00 p.m. which is a change from the previous time and confirms our plans as discussed" between K. Berry of your staff and *B. Burgess of this office to have a meeting with you and members of your staff at the Palisades Nuclear Plant, on November 27, 1989.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the Initial SALP 9 Report for Palisades.
We encourage you to hav~ appropriate corporate and plant management representation at the meeting to ensure a mutual understanding of the issues and findings being presented by the NRC.
While this meeting is considered a pr.esentation and discussion forum between Consumers Power Company and the NRC, the meeting will be opened to any other interested parties as observers.
Those persons outside the licensee and NRC staffs should inform the Regional Office of their intent to participate.
We hope this meeting will benefit your organization and provide you with a meaningful characterization of the overall safety performance for the Palisades plant.
