WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST - CLARIFICATION OF LINEAR HEAT RATE SPECIFICATION (TAC 69587)
By letter dated October 6, 1988, Consumers Power Company applied for an amendment to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-20.
The proposed change would have modified the Palisades Plant Technical Specification applicable to the linear heat rate limit.
The proposed change was requested to reformat and clarify the present action statement applicable to ttie linear heat rate limit.
Your letter of January 24, 1989, requesting withdrawal of your October 6, 1988, application, indicates that the proposed changes will be factored into the Restructured Technical Specifications which are scheduled to be submitted in early 1990.
For the interim, the changes proposed in the application will be used for interpretation.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Provisional Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
