REVISED COMPLETION DATE FOR ELECTRICAL DRAWING VERIFICATION AND CORRECTION By letter dated April 16, 1987~ Consumers Power Company committed to implement an Electrical Drawing Verification and Update Program.
In this submittal we committed to complete verification of distribution panels and drawing update by th~ end of the fourth quarter of 1988 and to complete verification of wiring diagrams and drawing update by the end of the first quarter of 1990.
By letter dated July 29, 1988, the NRC was informed the completion date of the wiring diagram yerif ication and drawing update was changed to the first quarter of 1991.
There have been numerous changes in the Configuration Control Project since the original dates were established.
These c~anges have affected implement-ation priorities, schedules and methodologies.
Specifically, the electrical panel verification philosophy was changed from a "type of panel" approach to a "system" approach, in order to better support the design basis recovery effort at Palisades.
This system approach places the distribution panel verification and drawing update effort on the same schedule as the wiring diagram verif i-cation effort.
That is, both the panel verification and the wiring diagram verification and drawing update efforts will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 1991.
