4. 1.1 4.1. 2 4.1.3 4.1. 4 4.1.5 The Plant Laboratory Supervisor, Radiological shall implement this procedure.

PURPOSE To set the requirements of periodic inventory and operability checks for the Post Accident Sample Monitoring (PASM) System supply cabinets, panel instrument components and the system's associated analytical equipment.

This is in support of NUREG-0737 to ensure pe~formance of analyses for post-accident sampling.

INITIAL CONDITIONS AND/OR REQUIREMENTS Deviations from the requirements of this procedure must be documented and corrected.

This responsibility is assigned to the procedure initiator, the Plant Laboratory Supervisor-Radiological.

Equipment and supplies supportive to PASM shall.be maintained ln a manner to enable their use for PASM when necessary.

Equipment that is temporarily used for another purpose shall rema{n in a condition that will enable it to be used for PASM.

PROCEDURE PASM CABINET SUPPLIES The following PASM cabinets shall be inventoried every six months.

a.

PASM Panel, Sampling Supplies Cabinet.

b.

Hot Lab, Analytical Supp_lies Cabinet.

c.

Feedwater Purity, Analytical Supplies Cabinet.

The cabinets are locked when not in use.

A key is located at the Health Physics Clerk's office.

As inventory is taken for each cabinet record the quantity present on the appropriate Attachment, 1 or 2.

Circle those in red that do not meet specification.

Note:

Paragraph 3.1.

All corrective action that.was done to meet specification should be noted on, or attached to.Attachments 1 and 2, initialed and dated.
