PALISADES PLANT - AMENDED RESPONSE TO NRC SALP 5 REPORT -

CORRECTION Our letter dated May 16, 1985 provided an amended response to the NRC SALP 5 report.

Our response in the Operations area addressed efforts to improve

.. shift turnovers including group turnover (as opposed to one-on-one turnovers)

.~for control operators and for shift supervisors/engineers.

In fact,

,,. one-on-one turnovers are being conducted for shift supervisors and shift engineers as the group turnover was found to be ineffective during a trial period.

Evaluation of the group turnover for control operators is continuing with a decision to continue the process or not expected in the near future.
