PALISADES PLANT - FIRE PROTECTION REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL TIME TO RESPOND TO NRC LETTER DATED FEBRUARY 13, 1985 NRC letter dated February 13, 1985, requested additional information related to local tending of the emergency diesel generators in the event of a fire in certain plant areas.
A response was requested to be submitted by April 19, 1985.
Consumers Power Company is currently in the process of performing the calculations needed to respond to the NRC requests.
However, more time will be needed to properly complete this task.
According, a response to NRC letter dated.February 13, 1985 will be submitted by June 1, 1985.
