DeWitt Vice President Nuclear Operations Consumers Power Company letter dated. June 25, 1984 submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.7l(e), Revision 0 of the Palisades Plant FSAR Update.
As explained in our June 28, 1984 letter, the Updated Chapter 14 was not included
- in that submittal, but would be provided to the NRC prior to the 24-month deadline established by 10CFR50.7l(e)(3)'(ii). *Consumers Power. Company letter dated November 8, 1984, requested an extention of the 24-month deadline for submitting the updated FSAR Chapter 14 (ie, November 22, 1984) to December 31, 1984.
o*ur letter *of November 8~ 1984 alsq stated that this extention will not effect the submittal of Revision 1 of the FSAR update by July 1, 1985.
Enclosed are one (1) original and twelve (12) copies of Revision 0 of the FSAR Update Chapter 14, "Safety Analysis." This FSAR Update Chapter is a complete *
- revision of Section 14 of tl:ie 1980 FSAR as amended and revised.
To the best of my knowledge, it accurately incorporates all changes made to the* Palisades.
Plant or to the Palisades Plant's procedures as described in the FSAR and all other applicable information contained in the licensing submittals made to the NRC through December 31, 1983.
Ongoing reviews of Revision 0 of the FSAR Update Chapter 14 may result in future refinements of the information presented therein.

2 As stated in our letter of June 28, 1984, the enclosed Updated Chapter 14 can be inserted into the space reserved for it in Volume 10 of the FSAR Update.
This letter also submits an errata sheet and the associated corrected pages f the Palisades Plant FSAR Update.
