- We have received a copy of the foHowing applications which were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review in connection with the Pa11sades Plant. Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170 were not remitted with your applications.

A July 16, 1984 request for exemption from Section 111.G.2 of Ap-pendix R to 10 CFR 50 relating to cable separation inside contain-ment.

An August to. 1984 request for exemption from Section III.L.4 of Appendix R to 10 CFR 50 relating to local tending -of diesel gen-erators.
Since your applications were filed after the June 20. 1984 effective date of.the revision to 10 CFR 170 on fees, and were not a part of earlier requests for exemptions, they are--subject to the provisions of the revised rule. This rule requires licensees to remit an appli-cation fee of $150 with each application for 11cense amendment. re-lief, exemptton*and other requests. Therefore, it 1s requested that your Company.remtt the required application fees of $300 for your July 16 and August 10 requests. The ONRR staff bas tnfonned us that they consider the other items fo these two applications as being sup-plemental to ~pp11cations *prevt9usly fUed.
