CONTAINMENT PURGING AND VENTING Consumers Power Company in a letter dated March 1, 1984 stated that the Palisades Plant Containment Purge System will only be operated during the Cold Shutdown condition. This letter also stated that a Technical Specifica-tion Change limiting the use of the system to the Cold Shutdown condition would be forthcoming.
At the time this commitment was made the Palisades Plant was shutdown for refueling and is currently still in this condition.
Consumers Power Company will submit the Technical Specification Change before plant start-up currently scheduled for mid-June 1984.
