ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW FOR LICENSE CONVERSION Palisades Plant I~ preparation for the conversion of the provisional operating license for the Palisades Plant to a full tenn operating license, the NRC staff will shortly begin an assessment of the existing Final Environmental Statement (FES), dated June 1972, and an Addendum thereto dated February 1978, to determine what updating of the information contained in the FES will be necessary. Accordingly, you are requested to review the existin~ FES and its addendum for significant changes to the Palisades facility or the environs that would affect the conclusion$ reached 1n the FES.
Your response is requested within 60 days of your receipt of this letter *.
The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB* clearance is not required under P.L 96-511.
