We have received a copy of* your application dated Au9ust 30,. 1982, which was filed wi.th the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review. This application proposed ~ertain Technical Spec1f1~at1on-changes related to the
- Engin~ered Safety Features (ESF) filtration System for the Palisades Plant.
A Class III fee ($4,000) was remitted with your application pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their pre.11m-tnary revi.ew of your applfca.tion, it has been determined that the August. 30, 1982 application provides supplemental information to your pre-fee application dated March 6, 1975.
L~hen pending applications are supplemented or superseded to provide additional information and not to add new items for consideration, the supplemental o.r superseding app11cat1on is not* subject to an additional
- o.r separ.ate fee.
Consequently, the fee paid with your August 30 application*
is not required.
We have, concurrently authorized the Division of Accounting and Ffoance to.refund the $4,000 to your Company.
Refunds are generally processed within a two-week period. If the ONRR staff 1 s final review of your application reveals that this fee position is not correct, you* will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
