PRIMARY COOLANT BORON CONCENTRATION Attached are three (3) originals and thirty seven (37) conformed copies of a Request for Change to the Palisades Technical Specifications.
The requested changes would permit a reduction of the Primary Coolant System boron concentration without a bubble and normal water level in the pressurizer, provided cold shutdown boron concentration is maintained.
This Specification was clarified by Consumers Power Company letter of February 18, 1982.
Also, the requested changes would permit dilution (to cold shutdown concentration) without containment integrity being maintained.
The proposed changes involve a single safety.issue.
Therefore, a check in the amount of $4,000.00 is attached pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22, Class III change.
