INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL Attached are three (3) and thirty seven (37) conformed copies of a Request for Change to the Palisades Technical Specifications.
The proposed changes will permit monthly tests of Containment High Radiation and area/process monitors to be performed by observation of background radiation, when the instrument is located in a sufficiently high radiation field.
This will result in a reduction in radiation exposure.
The proposed changes involve a single safety issue.
Therefore, a check in the amount of $4,ooo.oo is attached pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22, Class III change.
