Dear Mr. Zimmerman:
On January 5, 2018 (Reference), American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) submitted to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an updated Decommissioning Plan (DP) for the American Centrifuge Lead Cascade Facility (Lead Cascade) as required by the commitment made within Chapter I 0.0 of the License Application.
During subsequent discussions with NRC, ACO determined that the DP should be incorporated into the Lead Cascade materials license upon NRC approval.
ACO hereby requests that the DP be incorporated as an amendment to Lead Cascade License Number SNM-7003 upon NRC's approval of the DP. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at (301) 564-3250.
