NRC Notification to the State of Florida Regarding St. Lucie License Amendments - Emergency Activation Level related to fire protection Good morning Ms. Becker, As a follow-up to my phone message from this morning, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is about to issue license amendments for the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Units 1 & 2. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.91(b), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance of these amendments.

Please reply if the State of Florida has comments on the following licensing action submitted to the NRC by 1

Florida Power & Light Company, et al. (the licensee): License Amendment Request - Focused Adoption of NEI 99-01, Revision 6 Unusual Event Fire Related Emergency Action Level Scheme dated January 31, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18031B011).

The associated proposed no significant hazards consideration for this amendment request was published in the Federal Register on February 14, 2018 (83 FR 6621).
