SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR MAY 1980 The long refueling outage came to an end on 5-24-80 when the reactor was taken critical at 0544 hours0.0063 days
0.151 hours
8.994709e-4 weeks
2.06992e-4 months
.

The reactor tripped from 7% power at 0751 hours0.00869 days
0.209 hours
0.00124 weeks
2.857555e-4 months
due to switchyard breaker being closed while the generator field breaker was also closed which caused a backfeed in the reactor protective system (spiked the pressurizer pressure signal) which signaled an inadvertent trip.

The unit was taken off line at 0400 hours0.00463 days
0.111 hours
6.613757e-4 weeks
1.522e-4 months
for turbine overspeed trip test and was back on line at 0456 hours0.00528 days
0.127 hours
7.539683e-4 weeks
1.73508e-4 months
.
