proposed revisions on pressure temperature limits. A list of attendees is attached.

The subject of the meeting was the CPCO amendment request dated July 2, 1979 and an NRC response dated August 21, 1979.

The August 21, 1979 letter found the July 2, 1979 request unacceptable for three reasons:

one related to uncertainties in end-of-life vessel fluence, the second related to the unirradiated value of RTNDT' and the third related to the increase in RTNtiT with radiation damage.

It was agreed that discussion of end-of-life fluence would be deferred for about one week pending additional calculations to be performed by the CPCO consultant. The NRC staff provided additional background for the positions stated in items (2) and (3) in the August 21, 1979 letter. *The CPCO represen-tatives provided additional data with respect to vess~l welds (attached).

Based on the meeting an understanding was reached that CPCO would submit revised pressure temperature operating limits based on the August 21, 1979 NRC letter subsequent to verifying the end-of-life fluence.
