Exceeded daily maximum limitation of less than 100 mg/l for TSS.
- 3. Description of Incident:

- On 5-7-79 the neutralizer tank discharge measured 175 mg/l TSS.
Apparent Cause:
The higher TSS discharged resulted from an operating_ error whereby the concentration of TSS within the n.:utralizer tank was not checked prior to discharge*.

Corrective Action - the following corrective action was taken or will be taken to reduce, eliminate and prevent recurrence:
"Neutralizer tank effluent limitations and proper procedures for authorizing releases from the tank were discussed with the individuals involved.
