Enclosed is an application (XMAT427/02), dated January 26, 2018, received by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). from Alrgas USA, LLC, for the export of 3,000 kilograms of deuterium gas and various deuterium compounds to China for distribution into the Chinese semiconductor and fiber optic cable market.
The purpose of the amendment is to extend the expiration date from February 28, 2018 to February 28, 2019.
There are no changes to the terms and conditions of the existing license being requested.
Therefore, our office is processing this as a minor amendment, and if no comments are received from the public within the 30-day comment period and it is determined that applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the license.
